Beyond her professional accomplishments, Missy actively serves both the Taiwanese-American community and her church. She held leadership roles as President of the Soochow University Alumni Association of Northern California (2022–2024), dual Secretary of the 18th TAJCCNC, and Board Director for its 14th and 15th terms—supporting large-scale events and youth initiatives across the Bay Area. Rooted in her Christian faith, she also serves on her church’s worship team and has joined mission trips to Mali, Seattle, and LA. She contributes to event planning for the ACTS African Vocational School and led social media, venue design, and video production for the Assemble North America Youth Conference. Guided by God’s love and grace, Missy bridges communities through purposeful service and cross-cultural impact.

He worked in TSMC for 20 years and now develops new products in Apple. He owns more than 200 patents mainly in CIS technology and keeps shaping the industry. He was granted 5th National Industrial Innovation Award (Innovative Elite) of Taiwan in 2017. Vincent also excels in leading new product development from R&D to production phase and effective collaboration with different stakeholders.
Pin-Hsien Lin 林品賢

Hsun Chao is a Product Intelligence Data Scientist at Joby Aviation, where he focuses on providing intelligence by simulating ground transportation systems and assessing market demand for air taxi services. His expertise includes Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data analysis, statistical modeling, and working with geospatial data.
Hsun holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a Master of Science (MS) in Aeronautics and Astronautics, both from Purdue University. Prior to his current role, he gained extensive research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, focusing on data analysis and statistical modeling. He also has a background in physics, having worked as a Research Assistant at the Quantum Optics Lab at National Cheng Kung University.

Diane Yajung Shea 許雅蓉

Diane Yajung Shea has nearly ten years of experience in public health, health policy, and non-profit administration. She worked as an Executive Secretary and has supported executive and program operations at three health foundations in Taiwan, focusing on healthcare management and community health. Her responsibilities included clinic operations, patient services, regulatory compliance, statistical reporting, and organizing initiatives such as liver screenings, health lectures, and children’s education programs. One of the programs she helped coordinate received a Bronze Award at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Sustainable Action Awards (APSAA). Prior to this role, Diane worked as an assistant researcher and contributed to health technology assessment research projects commissioned by Taiwan’s National Health Insurance Administration.
After relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue a certificate in project management, Diane met Taiwan Next, resonating with the organization's mission of empowering Taiwan’s next generation and hopes to contribute by helping strengthen connections between Taiwan and the U.S. across key industries.

Paulina Shiau 蕭妃君

Paulina was in Customer Service/Sales field in the computer industry, where she was promoted from Sales Assistant to Account Manager in three years. After she got married and had two kids, she began to seek opportunities that allowed her to do business and take care of her family at the same time. She found a network-marketing business in the cookware industry, Saladmaster, where her sales experience was an advantage in the field. She was promoted from Training Associate to Distributor within two years. While in the cookware industry, Paulina was introduced to World Financial Group. With more than 15 years of experiences in Sales/marketing and all the support from her mentors, family and friends, she was able to achieve her goal of becoming Marketing Director in December of 2015 and Senior Marketing Director in July of 2016. She is glad to be part of Taiwan Next Operation Team.

在炊具產業工作期間，Paulina接觸到了World Financial Group。憑藉超過十五年的銷售與行銷經驗，以及來自導師、家人和朋友的全力支持，她在2015年12月成功實現成為行銷總監的目標，並於2016年7月晉升為高級行銷總監。她很高興成為Taiwan Next Operation Team 的一員。

Carol Huang is Head of Tax at Egnyte, where she leads the company’s global tax function, overseeing tax strategy, compliance, and reporting. She has extensive experience in corporate taxation, including tax provision, international tax matters, and global tax operations. At Egnyte, she has strengthened tax processes and supported key corporate initiatives, including IPO readiness and strategic transactions.
Prior to Egnyte, Carol held tax leadership roles at Viavi Solutions and Synaptics. She began her career in public accounting with Deloitte and Andersen Tax.
Carol holds a Master of Professional Accountancy in Taxation from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from National Taiwan University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in California.

Jena Lee

Jena immigrated from Taiwan to the United States in 2023 and currently works as a Sales Assistant at IBASE. Alongside her full-time role, she continues to freelance in subtitling and localization, contributing to anime, film, and game projects through translation and subtitle production in collaboration with international teams.
She has been involved in photography since middle school through her church media team and later majored in Communication Arts. Visual storytelling and language remain central to how she connects with people. By joining the Taiwan Next Photo and Video team, she hopes to meet more Taiwanese abroad and document the stories of this generation.
Jena 於 2023 年從台灣移民至美國，目前在IBASE從事業務助理一職。除了正職之外，她長期從事字幕與本地化接案，參與動畫、電影與遊戲內容的翻譯與字幕製作，並與海外團隊協作，讓內容在不同語言與文化間順暢轉換。

She specializes in establishing business functions and streamlining operational procedures, with notable achievements such as creating a Strategy and Operations function for a medical AI startup and an Investor Relations function for a publicly listed telecom and media company. Her cross-functional expertise also encompasses team-building and event management.
Claire has been an active Toastmasters member for over 12 years, during which she led numerous innovative projects and relationship-building initiatives within her local club. She has also been a dedicated volunteer in the Taiwanese community in the Bay Area, CA, where she has helped plan events with up to 3,000 participants in collaboration with community partners. Currently, she serves as the Head of Volunteer Relations at the TaiwanNext Foundation, where she leads volunteer recruitment, team assignments and coordination, professional networking, and team-building efforts, dedicated to fostering strong, meaningful connections among volunteers.
